Justin Basler - Gym Manager and Head Coach

A brief story from Justin about his fitness journey:
I decided to become a personal trainer in 2012. I moved to Minneapolis for a 10 Month Personal Training education program through Lifetime Fitness. While living there I found a home at CrossFit St Paul. I fell in love with the community and the challenge that CrossFit brings. When my program concluded, I moved back to my hometown in Michigan and started my first CrossFit coaching job at a local gym. In 2014, I found a full-time coaching position in Indianapolis where the real fun began.
For almost 5 years I trained at a gym that started as a CrossFit gym and then transitioned to a group fitness gym with multiple fitness programs, catering to individual needs. It was there that I saw how personalized instruction helped make big impacts on personal fitness goals and the community kept people motivated. I made lifelong friends and learned the true value of a real gym community.
In November 2019, I moved back to Michigan to continue my fitness career as a Personal Trainer at Equinox in Bloomfield Hills. I was a Tier 2 Trainer there for two years. Equinox taught me the professional side of running a gym and the scientific process to help people reach their individual fitness goals.
I am looking forward to bringing my years of experience in the fitness industry to help build a community centered around fitness that we can all call home!

Aaron and Nichole Adami
Owners

Oliver, Aaron, and Nichole Aaron found at a young age that having fun during exercise was the only way to reach his goals. As a 3 season athlete in high school, each year needed someone to step up to hold people accountable and foster the community for those early mornings and long nights. Some years were better than others, but it was so much easier to show up and work hard when others were there to suffer together.
In college years, Aaron found a small network of people to workout together. Whether it was long runs, cycling, stair climbs with a weighted vest, or the multi hour grind at the gym. It was so much easier to go to the gym with friends.
Time after time, from working out at Golds Gym in Madison, to triathlons, to finding a CrossFit gym in Indianapolis, the story holds true.
Fast forward to 2019, Aaron and Nichole move to the Lake Geneva Area and start looking for a community gym to join. It wasn't long before it was clear that the gym they were looking for was the one they needed to create. So, the idea of The Lake House was born in the summer of 2021 (about the same time as Oliver).
Our primary goal for The Lake House is to create an environment that you never want to leave: fitness, friends, and community are at the heart of why we do what we do. We're still in the early days of The Lake House and were working on the finishing touches of the building and our offerings. We have lots of new things to come in 2022 and beyond.
